Ivory and Gold - An Absolute Royal Wedding Reception

This post goes out to my dear bride who wished to have a Royally Classic wedding fairy-tale...So this time we did Ivory & Gold, with a hint of Yellow and Champagne, just to spice things up!!

Enjoy!! and Happy Planning!! ^.^

And by the way, it's a Chinese Wedding so bare with me the many dresses and details ^.^

Let's skip the traditional invitation card, pocket invitation this time!! Cream Ivory envolop with change that black ribbon to dark red perhaps? Or a classy royal-like dark gold envelop with white ribbon?
Opt for something more simple yet classy? Perhaps a pearl-effect envelop and raft-string strands with a touch of imitation pearl?? Classy eh!!
Since she wasn't a big fan of traditional Chinese outfit, so I proposed a simple champagne halter-neck turnabout chinese colar for the tea ceremony...

Otherwise, a simple strapless mermaid-like gown with either champagne or cream-gole ribbon would be perrrfect ^.^ We are still within the theme ^.^

Pair any of the gowns with a simple crystal encrusted diamond stilettos *Oo la la*

A simple head-piece to go with your simple gown - let's not over-do it ya ^.^
Since the lovely bride loves her manicure...let's do some revamped french nails, detailed with some gold lines perhaps?

Or perhaps a V shaped french nails? Something different! *loves*
A mix of 2 different colored roses for the bride??
Perhaps keep it clean? Ivory roses with a couple of red roses?
Or...let's spice things up a little?? White roses with orange gerbera?? *striking*

For her 12 bridesmaids - yup 12!!! A peachy-orangy cocktail dress would be absolutely delightful - also for the picking up of bride and tea ceremony
Orange gerbera Bouquet for the bridemaids
Wristband for all bridemaids *yippie*
Let's just make the groom's life a little simplier during the noon, shall we? Just an Ivory Tie with Black / White Tuxedo ^.^ Clean!!
Simple corsages for the Groom and his men ^.^
Or let's give them some color ^.^
Sugar flower fondant cake for the day-time reception...
Or...lace-ispired fondant cake with champagne ribbon?
Table card for the dinner reception...ivory card with a dark red ribbon stripe and a flower stud ^.^
Or...ivory card with simple cream gold ribbon and a hint of lace?? *secy*
Cookies with fondant tuxedo and gown as wedding favor, we know just the right baker ^.^
Since cupcakes are the current trend in desert...perhaps cupcake in a box, decor with sugar butterfly and red ribbon would be delightful as well *bliss*
As we were talking about massive wedding cake...this would be perfectly massive enough - a victorian-like wedding cake...
Or perhaps we can stick to champagne fondant, with lace details...we can ask to have it taller ^.^

Black chair cover tied with Gold Ribbon - to add that Umph!! in the banquet ^.^
We can also keep it demure with white chair covers tied with organza and a rose stud ^.^
A high-low inspired dress for greeting guests before the dinner reception starts...simply sexay!!
The groom can put on an ivory tuxedo without tie -for greeting guests before dinner...No man like to have their tie on too long, trust me ^.^

A fairy-tale wedding?? Have these lacey detailed as your march-in gown ^.^

Or perhaps a semi victorian style gown with hints of champagne colcor for the march-in?? Loving this piece!!

Glittering gold maryjane's for the night!! from  Stuart Weitzman
Your second piece for the dinner, purple close-to-off-back gown...

I do undertsand that is vital to have a red piece of gown in your dinner (red to chinese means good wealth, health and so on) - So let's have this crystal detailed gown as te 3rd piece, dinner greetings and champagne pouring *absolutely stunning*
Final gown for the night - to close off and say your thank yous and goodbyes at the door...many will snap pictures with you before leaving ^.^

You would have let your hair down by the night ends...pair your striking yellow gown with this head piece...*shockingly perfect*
A champagne and bronze gown for the bridemaids...have it satin for a classy touch or even a chiffon for that graceful flowy look ^.^
Simple rose detailed ivory shoes for your bridemaids ^.^
A long coat, full white suit with a rustic gold tie for the groom perhaps??
Or perhaps a black suit with a victorian details vast and tie...Loving both ^.^
Lacey ivory dress with hint of bronze-gold ribbon for your flower girl *cute*
Flower girls will not be equipt without her flower headband
Perhaps a headpiece will look lavish too ^.^
I know girls should have colors, so a pink flowery hairband would do great too!! *smiles*

Ivory vest for your ring-boy, adorable!!

A David Tutera gown would be lovely but will need to fly all the way to the States to get them...let's see how things goes...

Until then, have fun planning!! And Thank You for choosing Absolutely Lavish to be part of your big day!! *much love*

Wishing you an Absolutely Lavish Ivory = Gold Wedding!!

xoxo
